Job Summary:
The Stormwater Management Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing stormwater management projects to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and stormwater management techniques to design and implement effective stormwater management systems. The Stormwater Management Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support in the planning, design, and construction of stormwater infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop stormwater management plans, including stormwater conveyance systems, detention ponds, bioretention areas, green infrastructure, and other stormwater control measures.
2. Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling studies to assess stormwater runoff, flood risk, and drainage requirements.
3. Evaluate and recommend stormwater management techniques, technologies, and best practices to optimize the performance of stormwater management systems.
4. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for stormwater management projects.
5. Coordinate with regulatory agencies, including reviewing and obtaining necessary permits for stormwater management projects.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate stormwater management requirements into site development plans and construction projects.
7. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with stormwater management plans and regulations.
